Dec. 08 out of the clear blue sky, my lower back hurt with pain down my leg. My out of town son-in-law is an RN and he said it's Sciatic Nerve. I worked full time and was trying to build my own business. My full time job would not let me off work to see about this and it only got worse. I was crying every day, using a walker some days and a cane on other days. Finally Feb. 17th of 09 went to doctor. He did an Xray and diagnoised me with Spondylothesis which was causing the Sciatic Nerve. The Xray was not clear enough to see what the nerve was doing so he wanted to do an MRI immediately since I was critical. He said once he obtained the MRI he would then know if therapy was needed, or put to sleep and given a shot in my spine or possible surgery. He believed the shot in my spine would be what was needed. The Very Next Day, I got laid off work. The pain is now worse and I am struggling to build business and I cannot get out and look for job cause of the pain. I found a few clinics who would take me, but, only for minor sickness not for this issue. I've contacted everyone begging, pleading for help and I came across this to tell my story and this is it. Can Someone Please help me! This is sad that I am 55 yrs old and I need a nursing home cause I can't take care of myself over something that should be simple if only someone would be kind-hearted and help me.
