Too many pimples...

This is not a healthcare story worth reading. This isn't supposed to help the cause for americans to receive acceptable healthcare. But here is my little story.

I went to the doctors for advice on my facial acne. My doctor told me he would prescribe oniment that should help. This "treatment" came with two different face creams. One for night, one for day. My health insurance company (MVP) will cover the night time one but not the more important one for the morning. My doctor said that the treatment doesn't work unless I have both, and thats why this is always prescribed together. MVP covers one, and not the other. The morning one would have cost me over $400, which is money I infact don't have for my acne treatment. Sorry this is not a "good" story. I just want to help!

Thanks for your story

Your story demonstrates how ridiculous insurance companies are i.e. only providing one part of a two part treatment. It is not life threatening but it is important to the argument for real universal care that is desperately needed in the U.S. Thanks and best of luck to you.
