Over Priced Cat Scan when unemployed
My wife and I were unemployed. I had a kidney stone attack and was rushed to emergency rm. We begged the doc to just x-ray but he chose CAT Scan. It has been almost three years, and we are still trying to pay off $3,000 bill. X-ray would have been $75. I've had kidney stone attacks prior and the X-ray showed the stones fine before. Good care doesn't mean expensive care especially when there is no insurance to pay for care.
