Guaranteed Healthcare

I have some friends who make less than $55000 per year.. He was diagnosed with hepatitis 3 years ago and she was diagnosed with skin cancer last year. On March 1st of this year Anthem Blue Cross of Pa. raised their monthly premium to almost $2300 per month.. He can't work all the time and she is a hairdresser.. Almost 75% of their take home pay goes to pay their healthcare insurance.. Because of pre-existing conditions, they are stuck with the insurance they have..Now they have to decide to eat, pay their mortgage, car payment, utilities,etc. or just drop their healthcare and risk losing their meager savings, their home or just die because they live in the only industrialized country in the world where healthcare is a privilege and not a right.. The same country that can spend billions on a war that 80% of the citizens don't want, won't provide a true universal healthcare plan to it's citizens.

Our congressman in PA-3,Phil English takes huge contributions from healthcare insurance lobbyists. They are and have been his largest contributors(Just like a lot of other elected officials) He is dead set against HR676 because it will put his friends in the healthcare insurance business out of business..IT'S TIME TO REMOVE THESE SPECIAL INTEREST PUPPETS FROM OFFICE.. Hr676 will never make it to the floor of congress unless we elect people willing to co-sponsor this bill..Fight for what's right and don't vote for anyone who won't support this LONG OVERDUE bill!!
