Gaming for Social Security, Health Care, Medi-Care

I have sent in my story but needed to add one more thing. I wrote our President and Senators about taxing the gaming industry for even one nickel of every dollar Americans spend could go into programs to benefit us when we needed it. They could create a Federal Lottery so people could choose how to spend the recreation dollar.

Look at Las Vegas and all the other big gaming establishments that take our dollar and offer nothing in return. Funding education? At a 30% dropout rate and faculty misappropriation of funds, I think not! Look at Internet gambling and the billions going to crooks in other countries. If we could regulate gaming institutions ran by legitimate agencies so the gaming is fair and monies are going into Social Security, Medi-Care, and Health Care programs then we could raise the countenance and health of Americans and put money back into our economy.

The anti-welfare craze has had a boomerang effect. Women can't stay home and care for their children, yet the value of that domestic job is over $100,000. Mom should be paid. People are continually denied SSDisability because our forefathers abused this program yet money is going into the programs, seniors dying by the handfuls, so where is the money going?

The President and Senators wrote back saying great-educated minds were working on these very issues to come up with complex solutions. We are headed for an elitists' society were you have a few of the haves and a struggling nations that is poor, hungry, sick and illiterate and subject to what ever the elitist class wants. So, I am too stupid to worry about issues of national concern, yet not quite stupid enough that I could find some little job a few hours a week that I can pay taxes on, yet could not buy groceries, let alone gas to and from work. Nor could I get insurance for afford my health care. Elizabeth
