Denied coverage after paying Anthem Blue Cross between $550 and $750 each month for 30 YEARS!
I paid premiums for almost 30 YEARS between $550 and $750 each month. Thank G-d I am in good health and it was a way for this insurance company to make a killing of my hard earned money--laughing all the way to the bank.
My husband now signed up for Medicare and I (being in my early 60's) had to hunt for insurance. What do you know....I was denied every plan Anthem Blue Cross had except the HIPPA. They claim high cholesterol..it's elevated, but now overly high and thyroid problems...I have over active thyroid since my teen age years and my nephew who is a radiologist told me not to do the nuclear medicine to get rid of my thyroid since my TSH was on the high side and he said I was sub-clinical because I do not have Graves syndrom nor the palpitations and this did not call for such a drastic step to be taken.
The insurance company said I needed "surgery" which I did not, and hence just jumped to conclusion and denied me coverage when I wrote and complained to them. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND NO OTHER CITIZEN SHOULD BE RIPPED OFF LIKE I AM. Mrs. Kaplan
