Out of work since January '07 when two discs herniated. Spent a year and lots of money in co-pays for useless rehab, chiropractor, pain management, MRI's, X-Rays, blood tests..... January '08 disc ruptured causing severe pain and nerve damage...no longer able to walk or have a bm without enema. March '08 saw a neurosurgeon in another town who would take my insurance. He admitted me to the hospital immediately...operated two days later to remove disc and pieces with a microscope. Today...still have pain and nerve damage. Still can't work. Suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, .... The Hartford says it was pre-existing because I saw a doctor before I dropped. SSI/disability denied me because I am only 44...too young. They know I can't do anything, but deny me because they feel I should be able to find something else. What a racket!
