Guaranteed Healthcare

You can basically read my story if you Google my name. The Wall Street Journal did a story about my fight with my husband's former employer and their "self insured" plan. We never were able to obtain medical insurance that would cover my condition(an autosomal dominant genetic disease), and so we are having one massive estate sale, selling the townhouse and moving to Belgium (where as luck would have it I am also a citizen, has great health care, and the doctors over their are studying my disease).

Once I let the WSJ print my story, I received some nice phone calls from people offering to pray for me, thanks, and others from the crazies around here saying God was punishing me because I said I wanted health insurance companies to be abolished because they weren't in the business to care for the sick, just to make profits, the sick just get in their way.

The kool-aid drinking Bush supporters suggested I go to the USSR (the supporters here are just as stupid as he is because there is no more USSR you village idiots), and in my bible ,there is no 11th commandment stating " though shall give your hard earned money to a health insurance company to deny you coverage on life saving help".

People in this country are too selfish to pay into a single payer system. Can you imagine every person paying a % of their income into social services that would help all Americans? That is how many EU countries do it. Most people we met in the EU on our trip last week were proud to pay into such a system because it made their country healthier and better for all that lived there. The wealthier also pay more for higher education, so all deserving citizens can go.

The USA is run by greed. We have a President who started a war for greed, doesn't keep his word to provide proper health or college benefits for those who fought his greedy war. Bush said he wants to bring democracy to Iraq.

What if the EU invaded the USA, because they wanted to bring a proper and just health care system to the USA, safe schools and rebuild the decaying roads and bridges? Why didn't all of the governments involved (federal, state and local), provide proper response to Hurricane Katrina? We provide proper response when there are wild fires in the wealthy areas of California, and other states. After reading McBush's health care plan I can only laugh and keep on packing.
