I do not travel to the USA because I am scared to death to become sick or hurt in your country. In Canada, everyone has access to medical coverage and it does not make us communist or socialist because of it. We are just healthier and happier.

Great work Michael Moore. I hope your people will stand up and be counted at your next national election.

Health Care

Dear Mr. Moore; I can barely wait to attend a local screening here in the Santa Barbara area of your new movie denouncing the sick and broken system we now have, and replacing it with Universal health care for All. A week ago in Santa Barbara we had a spirited rally in support of sen. Kuehell's Bill SB 840 which offers such a service.
Over 200 people showed up, and the rally was sponsored by the ACLU, WLV, The CNA and those involved in the 365 California cities campaign. Your film will help immeasurably to promote the concept (as if it was so original!) around the country, and into the most dimwitted corners. There has clearly been a shift in the national mood, and I am starting to smell success. All I am worried about is political compromise that could sadly wate rdown the main provisions of SB 840. It is no longer possibly to tinker with a few washers. let's throw out the whole damn boiler! Good luck to you. Fight the good fight!. best: Harry Lawton

not so easy for us british immigrants

just watched SICKO and had to say something to the people of America. Europe seems to have been shown as an easy ride which is not entirely correct. As a father of 3 living on a single income and living in the 3rd most expensive city in the world, free health care is and can only ever be a great thing but we are paying 75% of my income to support a 2 bedroom appartment that we could never own. There are no jobs that haven't been filled 4 times over by eastern europeans ( polish, romainian ) I know that that sounds like i'm a asshole but i'm polish.... Been here for 4 years and fully appreciate the free health care system but still think that the USA people can only blame themselfs for voting for an absolute ass. If Health care is so obviously swayed by money why are the poor not storming the streets. As a citizen of Eastern Europe i've faught for every right i and my family benifit from so why haven't you done the same ? Come on middle america. stand up and tell them what you want...
